One of the most exciting and experienced sommeliers in Poland and Europe. Before joining the Dyletanci team, he was the Head Sommelier at the Geranium restaurant in Copenhagen (three Michelin stars) ranked the 5th best restaurants in the world in The 50 World's Best Restaurants. In 2018, according to the same ranking, the restaurant was awarded the Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award for the unique front-of-house service that Norbert co-created. Norbert holds A.S.I. Diploma, Court of Master Sommeliers, Wine and Spirit Education Trust certificates. He was a winner of Polish eliminations and the winner of the third place in the international competition Gaggenau Sommelier Awards in 2016 in Vienna. In 2015, his wine list at the Tamka 43 Restaurant won the Magazyn Wino award for the best wine list in Poland. He regularly contributes to the opinion-making Ferment magazine. The wine magazine, and the online weekly Kultura Liberalna. Norbert also cooperated with the editors of TVN24 news broadcaster, as well as Winicjatywa, took part in many wine-related festivals and panels as a juror. Member of the Polish Sommelier Association.
He joined the Dyletanci team at the beginning of 2019. Before that, he was the Head Sommelier at the Amber Room Restaurant and the Polish Business Roundtable Club - the restaurant awarded with four cutlery pieces in the Michelin guide (for high-quality service and the restaurant’s unique atmosphere). Earlier, he was the Head of Sommelier at the Bristol Hotel. His wine list at the Amber Room Restaurant, with over 450 items, was distinguished by the Wine Spectator with the Award of Excellence. Jan holds the Court of Master Sommeliers and Wine and Spirit Education Trust certificates. As a n expert, he cooperates with Food Service magazine and Gastronomy News.
